Watch Beverly Hills Mayor Willie Brien deliver the 2012 State of the City address and tip his hat to our public works employees, the “finest we have in the State of California.” Plenty more backslaps seemingly for everybody except those of us who work for safer streets or otherwise do our part to reduce congestion and greenhouse gas emissions. Work for the city or the Chamber? Then you’re “an essential part of this community.” Bike around town and City Hall has nothing for ya.
