10 Best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days Squishmallows Deals (October 2026 Sale)

Plush shopping during Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days comes down to one question: which Squishmallow actually earns its spot on a shelf or in a gift bag. The 16-inch Anya Caticorn Mermaid is the pick to watch first, with a 4.9 average across more than 9,000 ratings, a marshmallow-soft polyester shell and a size that works as both a cuddle toy and a pillow. The 14-inch Sissy Teal Panda suits buyers who want an original-line character with a long review history, and the 20-inch Maui Pineapple is the one for anyone who wants a full nap-pillow-sized hug. Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6-7, 2026, and the picks below are the ones worth watching while it does.

Character plushes shift faster than most categories during the four-day event, and the same listing can move from full price to a temporary offer and back again inside a single morning. Nothing below is a confirmed price drop. The buttons show the current figure when you open them.

Best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days Squishmallows Deals Compared

How We Chose

We compared size, shell material, filling density, washability, listed weight and character type across all ten listings, then weighted the owner ratings and review counts Amazon shows on each one. Listing details and ratings were checked in October 2026, alongside the specs each page lists and what thousands of buyers say about them.

1. Anya Caticorn 16-Inch: Editor’s Choice

The one to watch during the sale. Anya is the rare 16-inch that scores 4.9 across 9218 ratings while also being the plush most owners describe as their softest. She weighs 1.4 kg and measures 16 by 15 by 14 inches, which is a lot of plush for a child’s bed or a first-year dorm.

Anya’s character is a caticorn mermaid, an Amazon Exclusive in the Kellytoy line, and the design is the reason it photographs so differently from the plain animals in this list. Buyers who collect rather than cuddle tend to start here, because the hybrid cat-and-unicorn look is less common on a shelf than another panda.

Owners report two things consistently. The first is that the thing runs bigger than the size suggests, which is welcome if you want a nap pillow and annoying if you have a small bed. The second is that a warm wash with an oxi pod and a low tumble makes it softer rather than flattening the filling, which is unusual for a plush this size.

Compared with Austin Avocado 16-Inch: the two share a 16-inch frame and near-identical dimensions, so the real split is washability. Austin’s listing states it is easily washable and dryable, while Anya’s wash routine comes from buyer reports rather than the manufacturer line. Pick Anya for the character and Austin for dorm practicality.

Good to know: buyers occasionally mention that a specific colourway arrives a shade lighter than the listing photos show. The squish itself is a slow-rise filling with no firm core, so it is comfort, not structure.

2. Sissy Teal Panda 14-Inch: Best Value

Sissy has been on Amazon long enough to accumulate 7596 ratings, and that is the real reason to shortlist her. For a buyer who wants a character plush that holds a 4.9 average over years rather than a new seasonal release, the 14-inch teal panda with glasses is the safe middle ground between a room-sized pillow and a shelf display piece.

The character bio matters more than usual here. Sissy is the panda who is always looking for board games to add to her collection, which is the sort of detail collectors pick up on and gift buyers never notice. Dimensions are 7.87 by 11 by 14 inches.

Skip it if: machine washing matters to you. The listed specifications do not mark this one washable, and unlike Anya or Austin, no strong owner consensus fills that gap. Spot clean and air it out instead.

Compared with Junie Banana 14-Inch: both are 14-inch originals from the same era and the same 7.87 by 11 by 14 footprint. Sissy wins on review depth and on being visually distinct on a crowded shelf. Junie wins on wash reports and on gifting, since it is a fruit design that photographs well in a bag.

The trade-off owners name most often is support. Like every Squishmallow in this list, the filling is a slow rebound foam that settles flat under weight, so a nap pillow it is not.

3. Maui Pineapple 20-Inch: Best for Nap Pillows

Buy the pineapple if the goal is a nap pillow with a face. At 20 inches and 5 pounds, Maui is one of the few characters here heavy enough to actually rest a head or a forearm on, and 6615 buyers have rated it 4.8 for that reason alone.

Maui’s bio is that she conquers her fears by trying new things, which suits a character most people buy for a child who is growing out of the 8-inch sizes. The dimensions listed are 16 by 14 by 20 inches, so check the clearance in a small bedroom before you commit.

Owners report the widest rating spread of the high-review picks in this list, with a small share of 1-star feedback concentrated on size expectations rather than quality. The 4.8 average is a size-mismatch problem, not a manufacturing one.

Size is the only thing separating the two 20-inch picks here. Salami is the heavier build at 2.72 kg, while Maui comes in at 5 lb with a brighter, friendlier fruit design and no tie-dye detailing on the ears.

Against Anya Caticorn 16-Inch, the choice is simple. Anya is the one that gets washed, according to the owner reports, and Maui is the one that fills more of a bed.

4. Junie Banana 14-Inch: Best for Gifting

Junie is the one to hand to someone who has never held a Squishmallow. Fruit designs read as food rather than animal, which makes them an easy gift for adults who would never buy themselves a panda, and the 14-inch size sits at the sweet spot for both a nap and a lap.

The evidence behind that is a 95% five-star share across 3634 ratings. Buyers frequently note buying multiples as gifts, and the filling is reported as durable enough to survive frequent squeezing and washing without going flat.

Good to know: the only recurring complaint is detail scale. The peel flaps do not wrap the full banana shape, so it reads as a rounder fruit than the listing photos suggest. If accurate detailing matters to a collector, look at Anya instead.

Both of these 14-inch picks share the same 7.87 by 11 by 14 footprint, so the split comes down to character and care. Junie has the stronger wash reports. Sissy has the deeper review history and the more distinctive shelf presence.

A small number of buyers report stitching defects that opened into holes within months of use. That is rare against 3634 ratings, but it is worth a look at the seams when the plush arrives.

5. Marcella Octopus 8-Inch: Best for Kids

The 8-inch is the size most first-time buyers should understand before anything else. Marcella weighs 3.68 ounces and measures 6 by 8 by 7.5 inches, which is big enough to rest a head on during story time and small enough for a four-year-old to drag around the house without asking for help.

Reviewers describe it as a gift for children roughly one to eight, and the quality comments concentrate on colour brightness and stitching with almost no negative remarks. Marcella’s watermelon octopus design is also the least animal-coded character in this list, which helps with younger kids who are not yet committed to a franchise.

Compared with Danny Dino 12-Inch: both are low-cost entry points into the range, and they solve different problems. Marcella is the one a small child can carry on their own. Danny is the one that stays on a shelf as the child grows.

The honest limit is size. An 8-inch is not a pillow for an adult and it disappears visually on a deep shelf, so if the recipient is a teenager or an adult collector, step up a size class instead.

Her bio is short and specific: Marcella loves cooking for her friends. It is the kind of detail that makes a gift feel considered rather than generic.

6. Mystery 3-Pack 8-Inch: Best for Variety

This is the most-reviewed listing in the whole set at 10292 ratings, and it works for one specific reason: you cannot go wrong choosing it. Three 8-inch characters arrive per box, drawn from fan favourites, new styles and Amazon exclusives, so a gift lands three times over.

Washability is the underrated detail. Listings at this size are rarely marked washable, and a multi-pack that can go through a machine is easier to hand to a family with a laundry routine than a single 14-inch that cannot.

Skip it if you are collecting a specific character. Styles are random and duplicates are possible, which is exactly why the rating sits at 4.7 while single-character picks in this list sit at 4.8 or 4.9. Buyers who enjoy the surprise rate it very highly, and buyers hoping for named characters do not.

Both sit at 8 inches in polyester, but only one of them is a named character. Marcella is the one you can count on. The mystery pack trades certainty for volume.

For shelf display, three 8-inch characters occupy roughly the space of one 14-inch, so measure the shelf before committing to a second tidy-up project.

7. Danny Dino 12-Inch: Budget Pick

Danny is the entry point into the line without dropping to Micromallow size, and at 4.9 across 2209 ratings the quality does not suffer for it. The 12-inch is the most practical dimension in the whole range: a real hug, still a shelf-friendly footprint, and a shape a child can hold with one arm.

The dinosaur-with-a-bow-tie design reads as a character rather than a generic animal, and Danny’s own description calls him the mallow you always want on your team. He weighs 1.6 pounds and measures 12 by 10 by 12 inches.

Compared with Marcella Octopus 8-Inch: four inches of extra squish is the whole difference, and it is worth it if the plush will live on a bed rather than in a backpack. If the recipient is under five, the 8-inch is the kinder choice.

One listing oddity to note. The unit count on the product page reads as 1 ounce, which does not match the stated 1.6-pound item weight, so use the weight field rather than the quantity field when comparing delivery or bundle maths.

Collectors often buy Danny as a gap-filler character between the more sought-after names. That is a deliberate trade: a common design is easier to find again later, which matters more than rarity to most households.

8. Austin Avocado 16-Inch: Best for Dorm Rooms

Austin is the pick for a small room where a washing machine is close by. The listing states the 16-inch is easily washable and dryable, and 3273 buyers confirm it holds its shape and its green afterwards, which is not a given for a plush this size.

Dorm buyers describe it as a pillow and a comfort plush, and at 1.38 kg with 16 by 15 by 14 inch dimensions it fills a single bed without taking it over. Austin’s bio is that he loves drawing aliens and dreams of living in space, which is a fair summary of the target buyer.

Good to know: the same listing carries a 5-inch and a 16-inch variant. The smaller one is well regarded for gifting and shelf display, but reviewers note it runs smaller than expected, so check which size the button actually opens.

These are the closest pair in the list on size and weight, at 16 inches and roughly 1.4 kg apiece. Austin is the washable, fruit-themed one. Anya is the Amazon Exclusive character with the higher review count at 9218.

If you are buying for a partner rather than a student, the same softness works as a comfort plush, and the avocado shape is less childish than a panda or a dino.

9. Anjali Elephant 20-Inch: Best for Colourful Display

Buy the elephant for display. The purple body with tie-dye ears photographs well, and at 20 inches she has enough presence to anchor a shelf corner rather than sit in front of other plushes.

She weighs 2.5 kg and measures 13 by 20 by 16 inches. Owners call her one of the biggest and softest Squishmallows they own, with several using her as a nightly sleep plush, and the tie-dye ear detail is the detail people mention first.

The 1329 rating count is the smallest in this set, so treat the 4.9 as a strong recent signal rather than a long track record. The five-star share of 94% is high, and the reported complaints are limited to a mismatch between the stated 20 inches and how large it feels, plus one manufacturing defect with a hole in the face.

Compared with Maui Pineapple 20-Inch, both are 20-inch fruit-adjacent designs for a bed or a corner seat. Anjali is the softer, fluffier, more decorative one. Maui is the brighter, simpler fruit.

Her collecting note is small: Anjali is the one who collects tea sets of all kinds. Long-running characters with a stated hobby tend to be easier for fans to trade, and that is useful if you are building a shelf rather than buying one.

10. Salami Red Dragon 20-Inch: Best for Biggest Hugs

Salami is the one to pick when heft matters more than shelf etiquette. At 2.72 kg and 20 by 15 by 20 inches, this is the heaviest build in the list, and the slow-rise filling gives it a deeper squeeze than the fruit plushes at the same size.

The rating spread is the best in the set: 94% five-star with only 1% one-star across 1162 ratings. Buyers treat Salami as a premium jumbo character, and the red dragon with tie-dye detailing photographs as a birthday gift for tween and preteen collectors.

Skip it if a child under about six is the recipient. The complaints here are entirely about weight and dimensions, never about quality, so a lighter pick like Danny Dino 12-Inch solves the same problem at a different size.

Collectors like that every character comes with a name and bio. Salami leads a high-school greaser gang, which is the sort of detail that makes a gift feel specific to the person receiving it.

The two are near neighbours in size and weight. Anjali is the softer, fluffier, colour-forward display piece. Salami is the firmer-feeling, heavier gift.

How to Choose Squishmallows During Prime Big Deal Days

Size decides more than any other single detail. Below 8 inches you are buying a portable character or a very small gift. From 8 to 14 inches covers a child who wants to hug it and an adult who wants a nap pillow. Above 16 inches you are committing floor space, and at 20 inches you should measure the bed first.

Character and Collector Appeal

Collectors buy character, not just fabric, and hybrid designs sit apart from plain animals. Anya Caticorn 16-Inch is an Amazon Exclusive hybrid, which makes it a harder find later; the common animals like Danny Dino 12-Inch are easier to replace if one is lost. If you are completing a franchise line, check the size and character name in the listing title before you commit, because the same character exists at four or five sizes.

Size and Intended Use

Match the dimension to the recipient rather than to the deal. Marcella Octopus 8-Inch at 3.68 ounces is the pick for a child who carries it around. Danny Dino 12-Inch at 1.6 pounds works for a bed. Anything at 16 inches or above, including Austin Avocado 16-Inch and the three 20-inch picks, is a pillow or a floor presence first and a cuddle toy second.

Materials and Comfort

Every pick here uses a polyester or plush shell with a slow-rise squishy filling, so the differences are in the details. Washability is the one worth checking: Austin Avocado 16-Inch and the Mystery 3-Pack 8-Inch are stated as washable, while Sissy Teal Panda 14-Inch is not marked machine-washable. Expect no back support from any of them. The filling settles flat under weight by design.

Gifting and Listing Details

Read the pack quantity before you order. A single plush and a 3-pack can sit on the same product page, and the mystery assortment arrives with random styles and duplicates possible, so it never works as a gift for someone with a named character in mind. Check the seller and shipper line as well: a third-party seller changes the return window you get, and that is the whole reason many buyers stay on Amazon even when a character costs less elsewhere.

How to Shop Squishmallows Deals During the Sale

Confirm three things on the listing before you click: the exact character name, the stated size in inches, and whether you are getting one plush or a multi-pack. Then check who sells and who ships it, since a marketplace seller changes the returns story. Most offers in this event need a Prime membership, a free trial counts, and pricing moves through the four days rather than sitting still.

• Pick the size class first, then the character, then the deal.
• Check whether the listing is a single plush, a 3-pack or a mixed-size page.
• Look for a washable listing if the plush will live in a busy household.
• Compare the review count as well as the star rating; a 4.8 across 6,000 ratings tells you more than a 4.9 across 1,000.
• Confirm the seller and shipper before checkout.
• Open the button for the current figure rather than trusting a figure you saw earlier in the day.
