Rack Request via LADOT

We’re thinking it’s about time Beverly Hills stepped up with a few $200 bike racks. City of Los Angeles has installed nearly 500 new bike racks under their ‘sidewalk parking’ – aka rack-on-request – program, according to LADOT’s Bike Blog. An individual or business owner asks for one on the sidewalk, and it’s in the queue. Now LA DOT issues monthly updates on progress. Santa Monica has a program too. What about Beverly Hills? We’ve been asking for a year-and-a-half!
